An inexpensive prefilter, typically a depth style element, can extend the life or improve the performance of a more costly final filter. The final filter in many applications would be of the pleated style designed for submicron particulate filtration or general fluid polishing. This fluid filtration design can also be implemented for purifying other fluids such as lubricating oil, cosmetic lotions and creams, flavors and fragrances, gases, compressed air and nitrogen. The addition of a prefilter or final filter to your existing system may produce longer production runs, reduced maintenance and lower costs per gallon of effluent.
